Effects of Environmental Parameters on the Seasonal Distribution of Phytoplankton in the Shallow Lake Ketence, Turkey

The seasonal distribution of the phytoplankton and their relationship with environmental parameters Lake Ketence was studied monthly intervals in two stations between October 2016 September 2017. A total 93 taxa 8 divisions were identified, 11 4 different (Chlorophyta, Bacillariophyta, Euglenozoa, Miozoa) dominated periods study. Main nutrients (NO3-N, NO2-N, TP, Si), some other (T, EC, Secchi disk depth), organic content lake had strong impacts on assemblages. Although biomass values varied indicated very good to poor water quality during period, especially prevalence chlorophytes such as T. minimum which prefer high nutrient euglenoids E. clavata, rubra, P. longicauda, oblonga that grew extremely well under has confirmed is eutrophic.
